I’m taking part in Shine Night Walk to support my brother fight cancer
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. My big brother has been diagnosed with a brain tumour this year. He has been much braver than any of us in this fight and after an 8 hour operation to remove the tumour he is currently receiving radiotherapy to beat this terrible illness. Every pound that is donated will help give someone more time with their loved ones.
CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
