Jurassic Coast Hike 2017

Sat 24 Jun 2017

Sisters in the sunshine at the seaside, you say? Count me in! What are the hiking boots for?

My Story

So, dear friends, here we are, one year on from my Race For Life debut at Pretty Muddy, Basingstoke. As you might remember, we Martin Sisters smashed our fundraising target of £1,000. We also drank lots of pink wine afterwards and went dancing. Well, this time I don't need bribing to take part! We've decided to step it up a bit, and we've signed up for a 20-mile walk in Weymouth. Not sure whose bright idea that was... Anyway, after the Jurassic Coast Hike, via Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, I'm not sure that my little paws will be fit for dancing, but we'll give it our best. I'll certainly have a thirst on. This year marks ten years since a school and scout friend of mine went to The Next Room, having fought ovarian cancer. This one's for you, Sally. Think me Kendall Mint Cake, my lovely. So, if you have a spare penny or two, I'd be thrilled to have your support. I haven't done a hike since I was in Venture Scouts... Over 20 years ago. All donations gratefully received. Bring on the sand, sea and sun cream! Love you. V ?
