My Dad, Ian Springett
My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day, in loving memory of my wonderful Dad, Ian Springett. Sadly we lost my Dad to cancer in January this year. Although he had to endure some incredibly tough times with his illness, his attitude towards it all was inspiring – he never complained, got on with it, and was amazingly strong throughout. As a family, we are incredibly proud of him. I want to challenge myself to walk 10,000 steps a day for the whole of March as I know it would make my Dad proud. I would be so grateful for any sponsorship to help fund life-saving research to help prevent other families from finding themselves in this incredibly heartbreaking situation. Victoria x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
