My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. You might remember that 9 years ago I completed the 2009 London Marathon with my friends dan and iris raising much needed funds for breast cancer research. Life events have encouraged me to have another go. This time a SPONSORED SLIM which I actually think will be much harder than running 26 miles. My aim is to loose 3 stone and raise £1,000. I hope you can support me. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
