Shine Night Walk London 2026 - Full Marathon
My Story
Hi All, A little about me last year I completed the half marathon for Cancer Research. This year I have decided to push myself even further and will be taking part in the Shine Night Walk FULL marathon for Cancer Research UK. This cause has affected mine and my families lives more than once. I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet my MIL (but I know she must have been incredible to raise such a great man). We also sadly lost Paul’s Grandma who we loved dearly and lastly and more recently my mum who has fought so incredibly hard for so long but now has to just live with this awful disease for the remainder of her life 😢 I once again wanted to do something in honour of all those that have lost their lives, those that have survived and for those, like my mum who are still fighting 💪🏼 . That is why I have chosen to support Cancer Research UK. My walk will take place on September 19th 2026 and my goal is to raise as much money as possible to help make a difference. Cancer affects 1 in 2 people. Together let’s make a difference! If you can, please donate—even just £1 can help!
