My Story
I was diagnosed in June 2022 with Breast Cancer. This was a huge shock. It was a scary time especially when I found the cancer had spread to my lymph nodes. It's been quite a journey what with various surgeries, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and anti-hormone therapy treatments. Thankfully though all this was a success and I had my first year scan showing I was clear! I lost my mum to this terrible disease, due to her having a rare small cell cancer which they had no treatment for, and I know many others who are affected. I want to try and help stop it, to do that we need to find a cure and research new treatments. I'm hosting a 2-hour fun fitness event on Sunday 11th February 10am til 12pm at Sutton Village Hall, which shall be a mix of Pound® (cardio jam session drumming with Ripstix®), Badass (martial arts to music) and Zumba® (dance fitness). Booking is required so each individual has enough space in the hall and so I know how much equipment to provide. To book please text me on 07702 904668. Also please contact me if you require more information or have any questions. Please kindly support me by either: - attending my fitness event by way of a £10 donation (in advance or pay on the door); - picking up a sponsorship form from me, or from Eastburn Fitness Centre, and ask people to sponsor you to do the fitness event and get free entry; - purchasing a raffle ticket in advance or at the event (this will be drawn after the 2-hour fitness workout); - making a donation (if you are unable to attend the event) - no matter how big or small it is, it will be very much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! I think each and every one of us knows someone who's life has been affected by Cancer. By coming together for my event, this is a great way of raising some money for a really important cause and will help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
