My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. In May 2005 my life turned upside down. My Mum was taken into hospital, thought to have had a stroke. After numerous tests and a couple of stays in hospital, she was diagnosed with a terminal cancer - metastasis in her brain. This is a secondary cancer .. the primary was never found but it had come from a skin malignant melanoma. My Mum passed away within 6 months of diagnosis. I don't want anyone to witness anyone they love suffer and pass away from this dreadful disease. Skin cancer is horrid. My Mum was not a sun worshipper at all and was super careful when she was out in it!! In March I have pledged to 'Walk all Over Cancer' in memory of my beloved Mum and best friend. I will walk 10000 steps a day and I would love to raise £200 for research into Skin Cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
