My Story
A couple of years ago I couldn’t even walk up the stairs without getting out of breath, let alone run 10K! In a bid to improve my fitness, I’ve decided to take part in both the 5k Pretty Muddy race and the Leicester 10K Race for Life. Words I never thought I’d hear myself say! If I’m going to challenge myself, I figured it should at least be for a good cause. Cancer is awful. It has affected both family and friends and if even small advancements can be made in medical research then it will be worth my own personal torture! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a 5K Pretty Muddy Race and Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
