I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of
Mum
On the day that I found out I was pregnant my mum was taken in to hospital...... 2 weeks later we lost her to cancer. Becoming a mum when you have just lost yours is horrendous. To know that my mum has missed out on her funny, charming, loving grandson is heartbreaking. To know that my son has missed out on a loyal, loving, caring grandma is devastating. Cancer did this. I don't want others to go through the same heartbreak. If one more grandma can enjoy her longed for grandson and if one more grandson could get that unconditional love from his grandma, how wonderful would that be? Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
