My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. So for those of you that know me will appreciate I am not really an exercise fan ?. However I've always wanted to support this cause doing one of their challenges, yet always let my fitness (or lack of) & confidence hinder me signing up etc! This event caught my eye and still wanting to do my bit combined with the want to become fitter i didn't think twice and signed up! So hence forth this March what better motivation do I need to get my backside in gear by doing my bit to raise some funds for such a worthy cause. This is close to my ❤️. I have lost two ladies in my life to cancer that were like second mothers to me and also have some further special people who have battled & survived it or are at high risk from it and are facing this head on! These fabulous humans have all braved this horrid disease face on with such strength and courage. I am so proud of them all and honoured to call them my family and friends! So this March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. This may not be as significant as a 10k or marathon but this will be a challenge to me and is my first fundraising attempt. Hopefully this will get me fitter in order to do more and also help those that are striving to find that final 'knockout punch' to Cancer!
