My Story
On Thursday 26th September, Vertas Group is delighted to host its annual charity golf day. Last year was a great success, raising £1,505.00 for Cancer Research UK. Hosted by Ian Surtees, Vertas Group’s Chief Executive Officer, the competition will see golfers from local and national businesses take to the 18-hole Gainsborough Course at Stoke by Nayland Resort. Each team will start simultaneously from different holes around the course which features four lakes and some tricky terrain. The participating teams include Vertas, Concertus, Opus, Vertas Grounds, Barclays, McCain Foods, Dalkia, Sona Insurance, Suffolk Chamber, Alliance Local and Centaur Construction. We want to thank our event sponsors: McCain Foods, Bidfood, DCS, Concertus, Opus, Alliance and Dalkia.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
