Join Me in Making a Difference for Cancer Research UK Hello, my name is Veronika Walker, and I am honoured to be Mrs Edinburgh 2025. Today, I am reaching out to you to support a cause that is incredibly close to my heart: Cancer Research. Cancer has touched my life in profound ways. I lost my father far too young to this devastating disease, and I have also witnessed loved ones battle cancer. I aso had a dear friend Janusz, who left behind a beautiful legacy of 600 tulips he planted in my garden. Each bloom reminds me of him and the importance of hope and resilience in the face of adversity. I am proud to be participating in Mrs. World UK, where Cancer Research UK is the chosen charity. 1 in 2 people will be affected by cancer in their lifetime? Since its inception in 2002, Cancer Research UK has been at the forefront of groundbreaking research helping thousands of people. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, their pioneering work has improved the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer, benefiting millions of lives over the past 120 years. I invite you to join me on this essential mission. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.
