My Story
First-time ballroom dancer, long-time sequins lover 💃🏻🪩✨ In October, I’ll be chasséing very much out of my comfort zone into the SU2C Ballroom! Over the next couple of months, my dance partner (the wonderful Sophie Wickens) and I will be swapping our dignity for dance lessons as we learn our routine from scratch. I’ll be sharing updates from rehearsals, so please follow along as we take on the challenge together! Working in the Ventures team at Cancer Research Horizons, I see every day the impact that Cancer Research UK funding has on the future of cancer care. I work with early-stage companies that are turning breakthrough research into potentially life-changing treatments and diagnostics for people with cancer, for whom progress cannot come soon enough. All donations, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated. 🩷
