I'm doing Race For Life this year for my γιαγιά Anna and everyone facing cancer right now.
My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I also somehow managed to convince my amazing team at Cancer Research UK to join me, so we will be representing the Patient Involvement team :-) Cancer affects all of us at some point in our lives. I'm fortunate enough to have a job where I can meet and work with inspiring people and hear about pioneering research that is taking place. But I work where I do because like others, cancer has affected my loved ones. Growing up, I met my beautiful little cousin Kalomoira who sadly passed away shortly after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. My yiayia Anna is currently going through treatment so I'm doing this for both of them and everyone that has and is currently facing cancer. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
