Vanessa takes on Dryathlon
Ness is going sober... I'm giving up alcohol this January for Cancer Research UK.
In memory of
Diana Smith
I’m taking the brave (to me) step to have January off booze and taking on Dryathlon to raise money for Cancer Research UK I think most people associate me with a glass (or two!) of wine or prosecco and it’s a crutch that has slowly been getting out of hand and becoming the regular normality to me rather than a treat. I’m keen to do this to feel better, save money and prove to myself that I can actually complete something like this and use this challenge to encourage me to become a better person in other aspects of my life. As you all know, we lost my lovely mum very suddenly to Cancer. I will always do what I can to raise funds and awareness for cancer charities. Every penny raised makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
