My Story
So sad that our Race for Life event isn't happening in 2020. I've done it for the last 17 years and it raises money for Cancer Research UK, such an amazing cause. Our lives have been on hold but cancer hasn't been, that's for sure. To help raise money and help people get the support they need during these unprecedented times, I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
