My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I am doing this in memory of my dear friend Gail. She had a short but courageous battle with brain cancer, and her loss is greatly felt by the wider Claret community. Gail really was the life and soul of the party, she brought people together, and was a proud wife to Simon and Mum to 2 wonderful boys. She was only 46 when she gained her wings. Life can be so cruel, but we continue to speak her name and remember her always.
CAUSE
Brain cancers
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. That’s 35 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat brain cancer.
