My Story
I am taking part in a Race for Life 5k because I want to help raise money for a charity who helps people in such a difficults moments. This time it's very personal, because they happened to help a member of my closest family. I want to give something back. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
