My Story
Thanks for visiting my giving page people! I am Ursula and am recovering from cancer . I am going to do this swim for my husband who has gone through cancer before me and who despite only recovering himself has been my support throughout cancer during covid! For my wonderful mother who came from Northern Ireland to look after me for the first year and never let me flounder. For my amazing family and friends who supported throughout with constant calls and cards and prayers. For the best team in the world to me, Clatterbridge cancer care at Aintree university hospital and the brilliant nurses in the Marina Dalgliesh unit there . My heroes , who worked to treat us throughout covid and kept smiling. For the brilliant men and women who work tirelessly to find new treatments and will one day find a cure! To all the people who have been here ahead of me doing this challenge and set an example and made my treatment possible. Thankyou all from the bottom of my heart ❤️
