My Story

I've joined the Football Shirt Friday squad to help tackle bowel cancer. On Friday 24 April 2026, the Bobby Moore Fund is calling on people across the nation to 1 – Wear your shirt: Put on your favourite football shirt for work, school, at home or just out and about. 2 - Share the signs: Like and share our posts to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer. 3 - Help save lives: Donate to help fund vital bowel cancer research. 100% of the money raised will go towards funding pioneering bowel cancer research.

CAUSE

Bobby Moore Fund

Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 48 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
