My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I1 March I started a charity walk for cancer research. A number of close family members as well as friends and neighbors have succumbed to cancer. Also, 18 months ago I was diagnosed with Oral Lichen Planus, a difficult disease with no cure. It is fairly common, but most people never have symptoms and don't even know they have it. For those with a diagnose symptoms vary from occasional blisters/sores in the mouth to serious problems when it is difficult to eat and drink. 1-3% of patients develop oral cancer. Help me eradicate rare cancers and donate today! To raise money I'm attempting to walk from Land's End in southwestern England to John o' Groats in northeastern Scotland, a walk I estimate to be to close to 2200 kilometers.

Rare cancers
Together, rare cancers make up more than 20% of all cancer cases. Help fund Cancer Research UK to look for ways to improve our understanding of these diseases to save more lives.
