UKPNS CAD/BIM & Asset Management Team- Giving Page "Together we will beat cancer"

Our Story Thank you for visiting our Fundraising Page. We are a small team of staff that work for UK Power Networks Services in the CAD, BIM and Asset Management Department. We are hoping to raise some money for Cancer Research UK during the month of March 2021 by either cycling 300 miles during the month or completing 10,000 steps a day during the month. We also hope to all get a bit fitter in the process. The money we raise from your generous donations will help fund life-saving research and bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. The fund raising team comprises of the following members: Tom Arnold- Cycling 300 miles Matt Underwood- Cycling 300 miles Steve George- Cycling 300 miles Ginette Leeder & Tony Whyman completing 10,000 steps as a team We will update this page regularly with photos and weekly progress reports. Progress report end of week 1 (01/03/2021 to 07/03/2021 inc) Thank you so much for all the support to date, we have already passed our original target of £500 and are now hoping to raise £1000. So its been a challenging first week, squeezing in the cycling/steps and battling the weather (cold mornings and torrential rain) but we are all doing well and enjoying the challenge. But its still been challenging as we continue to battle the cold, wet and windy weather. Week three has been going really well are all team members are well on track to completing the challenge. Week four has gone well and the cyclists have all achieved the monthly target of 300 miles with a few days to spare. The steppers are also doing really well and have only three days of the daily challenge left.
