My Story

In 2019, I have decided to raise money for charity by doing 12 challenges over 12 months for 12 different reasons. I will be asking people to join me on this journey by partaking in some of the challenges and collectively raise money for the same cause (or to simply donate what they can) My beautiful mum died of cancer 18 years ago and many loved ones have also been affected, so all money will go to 'Manchester Beats Cancer' working in partnership with Cancer Research UK to beat cancer sooner. CAUSE

Manchester Fire Appeal

Following the fire at the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Manchester Institute in April 2017, Cancer Research UK has joined together with the largest single-site cancer treatment centre in Europe, the Christie, and the University of Manchester to build a world-class cancer research facility on the site of the destroyed Paterson Building. This partnership expands on the existing one between these organisations. The new research facility will bring together the entire spectrum of cancer research – from discovery through to prevention, early detection, survivorship and living with cancer.
