Trudi's Race for Life
Peterborough 5k 2019
Sun 30 Jun 2019 - Sun 30 Jun 2019
In memory of
Jean Cherry Lawson
I'm doing the Race for Life in Peterborough on the 30th June in memory of my dearly, beloved mother Jean who sadly passed away in November 2017 after losing her brave battle with Leukaemia. Jean was a true inspiration to all that knew her, even at the end she never gave up hope and she lived everyday as if it was her last. There isn't a day that passes by that we don't miss her and wish she was here to share a coffee, a hug or a smile. Hopefully running this race will find a cure for cancer quicker, because cancer isn't a respecter of family, hopes or dreams. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
