Donate through the JustGiving page or at the door. The event is at CLF Art Lounge, thanks to Michael Mickey Smith. Mickey got Paul involved with The Bussey Building/CLF Art Café early on, where Paul hosted "Bump & Hustle Music" from 2013. This night was Paul’s favorite, featuring both UK legends like Johnny Reckless, Phil Asher, and Ricky Morrison, and international guests like DJ Spen and DJ Spinna. Paul loved educating the young crowd about his musical history. The last "Bump & Hustle Music" was on January 26, 2019. We're holding this event at the new CLF Art Lounge, near The Bussey Building/CLF Art Café, where we also celebrated Paul's 60th birthday. Paul was diagnosed with lung cancer in August 2011. After major surgery and treatment, he was in remission for six years. In spring 2018, his health declined, and tumors were found in his lung and brain. Despite surgery and treatment, Paul passed away on December 2, 2018. He left behind three wonderful children – Heidi, Paul Jr., and Rio – and grandchildren Jaime and Shanae'. His legacy lives on in them. Paul's music and fans meant everything to him. He always said: HOUSE IS WHERE YOU LIVE GARAGE IS WHERE YOU PARK THE CAR UNDERGROUND IS REALLY A FORM OF TRANSPORTATION 2 STEP UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS WHO REALLY CARES, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC – DANCE MUSIC – NOW ADVANCE DANCE – BLESS Join us for his 66th birthday – It’s TROUBLETIME – TROUBLE IS STILL IN DA LAND!
