Cancer has touched my heart as it has many other people. Running Bath 10k is me doing my little bit!

My Story

Having a number of friends and close family suffer from cancer. Sadly some have been unable to recover, however there have been some who have, for which I am really grateful. Of course, without previous research this may not have been the case. In recent weeks I have also been making the effort to get myself personally fit and this seemed a good opportunity to combine them both. First, to do my bit by raising some money to help people in the future and secondly to set myself the challenge to complete my first 10k, something I never thought I could do. As you know cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
