I am working to raise funds and bring more awareness to childhood cancer.
My Story
In November 2017 mine and my family’s lives were turned upside down when my lovely niece was diagnosed with a brain tumour just a few days before her 1st birthday. Statically, around 1500 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and somehow you never assume it will be someone close to you. This was extremely tough on our family, something I can only describe as a living nightmare. Seeing a child that you just want to protect go through so many horrendous treatments is something that no family should have to go through. My niece Lily-May has proven to be the most courageous little girl, going through this extremely tough battle she still manages to show up everyday with the kindest heart and a big smile on her face. After 8 long years she is still not cured and is still facing invasive treatments. She is the reason I am doing Miss Great Britain, these children are the future and she deserves to live a life like every other child. With your help and donations we can develop the research into cancer so that these children don’t have to go through such invasive procedures and so that we can put an end to childhood cancer for good.
