My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m doing the Stand Up To Cancer Walkies Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Most will look at a 60 mile challenge within a month as an easy challenge, but for me, it will be a huge challenge. Faced with daily chronic pain and multiple medical issues, I know it will feel like a huge mountain to climb but whether it takes me 4 hours a day to walk 2 miles, or whether I need to stop and rest and then get going again, I am determined to do it. I will be doing this in memory of my mum Kaye, my aunt Elmar, my friend, Jackie and all of those relatives of my friends and family that have lost the battle with cancer or who are going through treatment. I know things are difficult right now for everyone with the cost of living, but any amount you can give will be appreciated greatly.
