My Story
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! I lost my Uncle less than 2 years ago, my Mum’s friend died of an undiagnosed brain tumour at 31. I have lost a good work colleague and another has had to endure the fight and won. It took two young children who lived in my village. Cancer doesn’t care how old you are, how fit you are or how loved you are. It is still in the top 2 biggest killers worldwide next to heart disease. Maybe one day scientists will find the breakthrough we have been looking for. Thank you!
