My Story
Firstly, a big thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. On Sat 2nd June 2018 I will be taking part in the Race for Life ‘Pretty Muddy’ 5K Event in aid of Cancer Research. This is the first time I have participated in such an event and I am seeking to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity, which is very close to my heart. In January 2015 I lost my incredibly brave mother to this awful disease. She fought her personal battle with cancer for almost 4 years before it took its final toll. She was an amazing lady, much loved by her family and friends and will be forever sorely missed. Losing a parent, for whatever reason, is heartbreaking, especially if their quality of life had been severely affected by a potentially curable disease. And so therefore, my challenge has been set! If you can donate anything, no matter how big or small and sponsor me on my challenge, I shall be forever grateful. Thank you! Tracy x

With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
