Tracy's Race for Life
Bristol 10k 2018
Sun 1 Jul 2018
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives, many of us have been affected by losing family or friends to this terrible illness. On a personal level I said goodnight to my Dad last January after he was diagnosed with liver cancer just 3 months earlier. I am participating in this 10k race with M&S colleagues and along with our personal losses fondly remembering our former colleague the lovely Carole Lewis who lost her battle to cancer, we also have a few success stories in our Longwell Green family of colleagues that have ‘kicked cancer’s ass’ which is always amazing to hear, this is why we are aiming to raise £150 as a team to continue hearing these success stories. Whether we walk, jog or run (slightly ambitious?) we are gonna get round and raise some money! Thank you for reading x Any donations will be greatly received.
