My Story
Wow … I know this distance is nothing spectacular but I’ve found it challenging so far. A simple comment of “I think I might do a walk I’ve seen’’ at the dinner turned around in 5 minutes to “I’ve signed you up” As most of you know … a spiral fracture and fractured ankle in 2019 left me on crutches until 2021, I had breast cancer in 2022 and found myself back on crutches in 2025 following on from a full knee replacement. So along with my amazing daughter and daughter-in-law I’m going to do this. Giving back to those who helped and supported me when I really needed it. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
