Walking this with my girls as this is a cause very close to me. 2018 was the year that I spent fighting Breast Cancer with the good news is that I am now in remission. I know first hand that without this ongoing research, my story may have ended very differently. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
