Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner. Our world changed last summer when sadly my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mesothelioma (cancer of the lung lining) and that it was terminal. Every day is precious as we know the coming months are going to be very difficult. We wanted to do something positive and make him proud so along with my three girls and sister-in-law we hope to raise a few quid! Sadly since writing this page Dad lost his battle. He put up one hell of a fight to the very end. Things will never be the same without him, he was the centre of our family & we miss him so much. He knew we were taking on this challenge so please help us raise as much as we can. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
