My Story
We all know someone who is either going through Cancer right now, or has gone through Cancer and beaten it, or who has sadly lost the fight to this horrible, shitty illness. Cancer is happening right now, every minute of every day, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and help towards finding a cure one day. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
