My Story
This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month in honor of my amazing dad who recently lost his battle with cancer. He was everything to me and I feel blessed to have been loved by such a kind and wonderful man. He loved his family and friends and throughout his life has always been there for everyone. He was in my eyes a one in a million father and I am proud to be doing this in his memory. He lived a long and happy life but for this horrible disease would have been here for longer guiding me and my family and just constantly showing us the strength of his love and support. He has helped make me the person I am today and I will always strive to do my best for my family and friends just as he showed me how. To always be there like he was for me. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
