My dad , the most hardworking man I have known who didn't have the chance to fight it.

In memory of

Ken Hicks

16 Jun 1947 - 22 Jul 2017

In May 2017 my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer, it was short lived as he passed away in July 2017 after a very short battle. My families lives will not be the same again but unfortunately life with Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
My older sister Karen will be doing a 5K walk on the same day as my Pretty Muddy to help support me as she is unable to be here but will be doing hers on holiday.
My event is going to be emotional as the same day as my dads birthday Saturday 16 June, he would have been 71.
