My Story
Hi! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Iβm going to be jogging 31 miles in May to help raise money for the BOWELBABE for Cancer Research UK. If youβre not familiar with the original founder of Bowelbabe Deborahβs sad but inspiring story can be found on this page. Although I walk dogs every day, jogging has NEVER been my thing! At school I was unwillingly entered for the 1500m race and I hated it! Red faced and after being lapped I would be embarrassingly applauded for finally finishing (way after the rest of the runners ππ πββοΈ) I want to challenge myself for this brilliant cause with Deborahβs brave fight keeping me going! Iβm hoping by the end of May jogging could become a hobby and put the school nightmares behind me! ππ As well as hopefully raising as much money as possible for Bowelbabe!! π° π·πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ Please show your support if you can, by donating to my page π Thanks so much Tracey π

CAUSE
Bowelbabe Fund
Fuelled by the spirit of rebellious hope - of choosing to remain hopeful in the face of overwhelming odds - the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK was set up to continue the incredible legacy of Dame Deborah James. We raise money to fund cutting edge research into early detection and personalised medicine, raise awareness of signs and symptoms and tackle the stigmas around cancer with unflinching honesty so we can give more people affected by cancer more time with the people they love.
