My dad died 2 years ago after being diagnosed with Large Granular Leukaemia and MDS.I want to raise money for Leukaemia.
In memory of
Richard Jenkins
30th May 1951 - 16th Mar 2016
I have since raised over £2,000 for MDS and would now like to raise money for Leukaemia. Dad was the 13th person in the country to diagnose both diseases and whilst receiving excellent care more research is needed for this rare disease. We miss him terribly. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
CAUSE
Leukaemia
Five-year survival rates for leukaemia have more than tripled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year. Almost a third of all cancers diagnosed in children are leukaemia. Your donation can help Cancer Research UK find better treatments and new ways to prevent the disease in adults and children.
