Emma and I are being joined by family and friends to raise money to help find a cure for cancer.
My Story
Thank you for taking the time to read our page. This is my 4th race for life, Emma's 2nd. We want to raise money to help fight cancer. Every pound raised brings us closer to a cure. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I was diagnosed with follicular Non Hodgkin lymphoma 4 years ago. It was such a shock and I had no idea what to expect. Fortunately I have been in spontaneous regression, for two years and four months, which means my body is fighting it. I am very lucky, and hope this will continue. However, too many people I know are fighting this horrid disease and it means so much for me to go out there, with my family and friends and do something positive, raise money to help find a cure. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
