My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be completing 100 skips a day in June to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My family, like many others has been touched by Cancer more than once. Every day I face the reality that there is no cure for my husband's condition. Diagnosed last October with a terminal Glioblastoma brain tumour, as a family we know how this news effects everyone in a family. We cherish everyday and live life to the full knowing time is precious. Supporting cancer research gives me hope that there may be a brighter future for my children's children, potentially saving them and Thier families from the same devastating news of terminal cancer. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. ---------- Update: August 2024 Approaching the 2nd anniversary of Joel's diagnosis. Though the last two years have been an emotional rollercoaster we are grateful for the precious time we continue to share, taking every opportunity to enjoy life, even the little things we often take for granted.
