My Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. This September, 6 of us from the Herts for Learning maths team are running 360 miles between us to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Statistically, 50% of UK people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That's not maths that's nice to hear. Over the past 40 years, the survival rate has doubled to 50%, thanks to the great progress research has made. The ambition at Cancer Research UK is to accelerate progress and see 3 in 4 patients surviving the disease by 2034. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by making a donation to our page. Nicola, Charlie, Kate, Siobhan, Laura and Rachel AKA Too much pi

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
