Everyone will be touched by a cancer story at some point in their lives - sadly this is unavoidable. A couple of years back I had a hat trick of loved ones in my family all fighting personal battles with the disease and it feels right to fund raise in their memory and in the on going fight against Cancer. ....Plus, a triathlon sounds like way more fun that a dryathlon ! This October, I’ll be swimming, cycling and running the distance of a Full Triathlon to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I have picked a Full Triathlon which will break me - • 3.8 km swim - okay :) • 180 km cycle - yes :) • 42.195 km run - I cannot run due to being a hobbit. This will be very difficult. If you are not already all donated out this year then I would be delighted if you contribute to Cancer Research here. Every pound, even only a pound, makes a huge difference into beating cancer sooner.
