My Story
This years race for life is even closer to out hearts as we race for Mum (Toni Davy). Just last week Mum / Toni went through surgery to save her life from breast cancer! She is well and recovering as expected, however is understandably upset that she will not be able to participate in this years Race for Life event. She is our rock, our inspiration and has never let us down, so we wont let her down and will be running this for her! For one year only my loving husband will be running in Mum's place alongside my sister Emma and my daughters Lily & Millie. The last 6 months have been hell. We have on an emotional rollercoaster that no-one should ever have to experience, but sadly too many do. Through this period we all fought cancer together as a family and on 7th July we will fight together again. I thank the people who saved my Mum from the bottom of my heart. The work they do to save lives is incredible. But they can't do it without out help and support. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
