My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK by running in the 2026 Manchester Marathon. I'm sure everyone reading this has been touched by this terrible illness in some form or another from losing family members to our closest close friends. I had a brush with cancer earlier in 2025 when my wife noticed a mole on my back which didn’t look right. Following a trip and subsequent removal it was found that it had started to turn cancerous. I was lucky that I had someone notice this but also technology which had been developed through fundraising was able to diagnose it and have it safely removed. I’ve also sadly lost a close friends and colleagues to cancer, so I will be running for them and all those affected. Thankfully though I also have other friends and colleagues who have beaten the odds due to ground breaking research from organisations such as Cancer Research. Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured, whether its just £1 or whatever you can afford, it will make a difference.
