My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Any funds I raise will hopefully help someone somewhere in the world, but in particular I will be thinking of my friends mentioned below and their families. At University I met Dave , back in the year 2000! We stood by each other as we got married and have enjoyed many days and nights out across the world. Earlier this year Daves amazing wife Abbie was diagnosed with Terminal Cancer at the age of just 44. With 2 awesome Sons Samuel (10) and Finley (7), all we can do is offer our love and support. I wanted to try and do something to show my love and support for all of the Watsons and so I have entered the Shine Walk in London in September to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. I will be walking 26 miles overnight which I am sure will be a huge challenge, but absolutely nothing compared to what Abbie and her family are going through. I will also be thinking of Graeme Scott and Barry Carter who are both facing their own battles and treatments. Having know both of them for many years having met up at The Cobblers it is once again just a small gesture I can make to show you my support If you are able to support financially you can do so here with funds going to Cancer Research UK
