My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. Not sure why I'm doing it really, would be nice to be able to reel off some lengthy inspirational story but am afraid I can't. I guess like most people I've been affected by cancer, losing a number of folk who were close to me over the years...so thought this would be a good way to help....oh yeah and maybe motivate me to lose some of that post lockdown ballast in the process :-) Any small donations greatly appreciated...ta very much like!!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
