100 press ups a day throughout May to raise money for Cancer Research UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. When I found a lump in my groin I thought I’d be told it was nothing and a case of paranoia. On the 25th June 2015, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I’ll never forget that day and thinking it was game over for me. I was put straight into treatment with the guidance of my consultant, and a whole host of brilliant medical staff by my side. After a gruelling battle with chemo, radiotherapy and more pills than I can even remember, that phase was finally over and after a further five years of check ups and tests I was finally discharged earlier this year. I saw this challenge and decided to raise some money for a fantastic charity and research programme without which, I might not be here to write this. So I’ll be doing 100 press ups a day throughout May to raise money for life-saving cancer research. Please show your support and help join the fight against cancer by sponsoring me. Dig deep because it’ll certainly take some digging to hit that 100 every day for me! Together we will beat cancer. Cheers, Tom
