I'm raising money as a member of the Cancer Research Society exec committee at Lancaster University. We have set ourselves the challenge of moving 1000 miles between us by the end of Lent Term at uni (March 19th). 1000 miles is the equivalent of travelling to Copenhagen! So this is a fabulous goal and something I look forward to seeing how we get on! It is also a personal mission for me, as it forces me to get active! Pancreatic cancer
Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
