Hello everyone! This is my 14th Race for Life and this year it is a new venue (Scarborough) This year I have chosen to do my Race in memory of Hannah Copeland. Hannah was a wonderful, loving and accepting woman. Everyone was made to feel welcome when visiting and were usually encouraged to enjoy some sort of sweet treat. My aim for this Race is to raise funds for Cancer Research to develop treatments and cures to stop the suffering and devastation for the sufferers and their families.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
